From the Desk of the Chairman

E. Juan Lynum

E. Juan Lynum

Chairman

The Partnership Foundation has provided and administered over $15,000 in academic fellowships and internships for minority and disadvantaged students. These fellowship grant recipients work as an intern or clerk for at least one semester in a law firm. The Partnership has provided over $2,000 in book grants to students with the support and partnership of Text Books Plus.

The Foundation congratulates past and current fellowship recipients: Yadhira Galdon, Anthony Atala, Mahala Dar-Janvier, and Rickey Strong for their outstanding academic accomplishments.

OUR MISSION

The Partnership initiative promotes business, community organizations and events. It serves as a public resource that networks small businesses, organizations, churches, and communities across Florida.

OUR VISION

To be a leading charitable organization providing projected oriented economic development, community logistics, and leadership for the socio-economic needs of the community.

OUR CORE VALUES

Scholarship, Economics, and Philanthropy.

OUR HISTORY

The Juris Scholar Foundation, Inc was formed by five first year law students in October of 2002. From its inception, it served to raise money for minority and disadvantaged students. Its first fundraiser allowed the FAMU Student Bar Association to open its bank account with $126.00. It provided financial support to student run organizations, such as The Independent Strike, the first student news publication at the FAMU College of Law.  Following the graduation of its founders from law school, the Foundation provided dozens of students with book grants to help with their first year costs of legal education. The Partnership initiative was formed out of a growing call for change that networks Florida businesses, clubs, organizations, and churches online. This enterprise activity of the Juris Scholar Foundation, Inc. provides the financial support for our charitable purpose.
